We are a network of agencies and individuals in New Zealand working together for the cancellation of the unjust and unpayable debts of poor countries. Jubilee Aotearoa is a local network linked to other Jubilee and debt campaigns in countries all around the world, poor and rich, south and north.

Recent Updates on Debt
In 2007, UK Jubilee published papers on debt and women; debt and education; debt and health and debt and public services.
In January 2008, in their paper Financing for Development, a step closer to Doha, EURODAD provides a summary of the state of play in the lead up to the next Financing for Development Conference scheduled for December 2008.
After calls for 100% debt relief before and during the 2005 Gleneagles G8 Summit, the Multilateral Debt Relief Initiative (MDRI) was introduced to build on the Highly Indebted Poor Country initiatives. The International Monetary Fund factsheet on the MDRI can be read here.
